Meet Your Hosts

MD, CCFP, FCFP
Jeffrey Habert is a Family Physician in Thornhill and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto (UoT). He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital.
He has participated on committees to establish clinical practice guidelines in areas such as depression, stroke, Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) in primary care and thrombosis. His clinical interests are varied, and include diabetes, obesity, respiratory disease, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), insomnia, thrombosis/stroke and osteoporosis. He is a national speaker in multiple areas and actively participates on scientific committees involved in the creation of educational programs.

Christine Palmay is a Family Physician at Midtown Health and Wellness Clinic in Toronto. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Western University Schulich School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Toronto.
She provides comprehensive medical care with a focus on preventative medicine and women’s health. She regularly speaks and writes about immunization and women’s health as she has a passion for public education and raising awareness about health issues. She was awarded the 2016 National Reproductive Health Award by the Federation of Medical Women of Canada.
